Sir James Quinlan was an executive individual who was working with UNIT in order to help investigate Recovery 7 and find three missing astronauts. He was secretly working, however, with General Carrington and Professor Bruno Taltalian. An Alien Ambassador, trying to destroy any existence of themselves, entered his office and killed him using a radiation surge. He was killed. (The Ambassadors of Death)
