The Meddling Monk was a Time Lord who used his knowledge of Earth history to infiltrate a society of Saxons and use clever tricks in order to change history.
Biography[]
In 1066, he disguised himself as a Monk and often healed individuals from the main village of Saxons and also a couple of Viking stragglers, Ulf and Sven from a battle. He also helped Edith and locals with their prayers.
He used a gramophone to capture an inquisitive Doctor and then drew Vicki Pallister and Steven Taylor inside. Looking out for the Viking Ship to land, he was to light a beacon in order to help them land easily. After failing to complete his mission successfully, he soon realised that the Doctor had tricked him and had removed his dimensional stabiliser. This meant that he was trapped on Earth in that time and place forever. (The Time Meddler)
Through History[]
He apparently put Leonardo Da Vinci up to designing aeroplanes. He also placed a certain amount of money in a bank in the past, travelled forwards in time and collected a fortune's worth in gold.
Technology[]
He was known to have brought many futuristic items to 1066 including a Wrist-watch, Atomic Cannon, Paracetamol tablets and even a Toaster, not to mention his own TARDIS. (The Time Meddler)
