Sven was a Viking scout, who landed on English soil in 1066 before the Viking invasion. During a skirmish with Saxons, he and his friend, Ulf were the only ones left alive. They sought refuge in a nearby monastery, where they mistook the Doctor as a monk and imprisoned him. They were fooled by both Time Lords as they were pummelled on the head by wood. While trying to help the Meddling Monk transport items, they were attacked by Saxons. Sven was killed along with Ulf. (The Time Meddler)
