Captain Tristram was Captain of the Merrow. He and the seven companions travelled to the Shadow Isles to retrieve Merlin's Helm. At one point, his ship was being led by Mermen. After leaving the Isles to took to port again and left the others to head back to Fluxford. (The Sorcerer's Apprentice)
